Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Patricia Gail "Patsy" McCormick Paquette, age 72, was born June 18, 1952 and died October 30, 2024 at her residence.
The owner of Action Advertising and a member of the McMinnville Lion's Club, she was the daughter of the late Humphrey Davis and Tellie Cora Brady McCormick. She was married to George Louis Paquette who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Kendal Wooten; siblings, Garnett Jewel McCormick, Arlen Dae McCormick, Joann Page and Humphrey Davis McCormick, Jr. and brother-in-law, Leroy Simerly.
Patsy is survived by two children, Tim (Vonda) McCormick of McMinnville and Sheri (Jim) Duncan of Sparta, TN; five grandchildren, Jensen Crain (Dennis) Foster, Allisen Crain (Dawson) Harris, Britten (Raquel) Crain, Sandy (Keegan) Currier and Jimmy (Tana) Duncan; four great-grandchildren, Nova Wooten, Taetum Foster, Hollis Foster and Bentley Crain; brother, William (Betty) McCormick of McMinnville; two sisters, Johnny Sue Simerly and Carline (Charlie) Butts of Quebeck, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.
To know Patsy was to love her! She never met a stranger, could talk for hours without missing a beat and always left a lasting impression on everyone she came across. She was a fierce and successful business owner and woman, driven by her deep and endless love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a great passion for life and lived it to the fullest through her love for the beach and collecting shells, specifically from her "little piece of paradise" Anna Maria Island, Elvis Presley, her lasagna garden and endless popcorn parties. She was many things, a mom, wife, friend, daughter, sister, and businesswoman with an infectious spirit. But her most prized title was "P.P." (given by her babies). She will be loved and missed forever, and celebrated always. "We don't say goodbye, we say see ya!"
Her final "popcorn party" will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024 at High Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A eulogy and memories will be shared at 6:30 p.m. Sunday with Keri Morton, Randy Smith and other family and friends officiating.
