McMinnville, TN resident and native Patricia Gail Taylor, age 63, was born October 29, 1960 and died July 30, 2024 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. 

A retired manager of Hardees and member of McMinnville Primitive Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Walter Wood Young and Loretta Bounds Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Waltyne Cantrell (Hurl) and Judy Adams (Jerry); brothers, twins Terry Lee and Jerry Lynn Young and nieces, Cindy Adams and Toni Cathey.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Roger Taylor; daughters, Alison Mendes (Keith) and Marsha Riggs (Brenin); son, Ian Taylor (Rachel); grandchildren, Hayden Tate, Lorelai Riggs, Aria Mendes, Xavier Riggs, Declan Riggs and Cooper Mendes and numerous kitties and grand-kitties. She is also survived by siblings, Wanda Smith, Gary Young (Lucy), Cynthia Basham (Kelly) and Ronald Young (Wanda); brothers-in-law, Gary Taylor (Jan) and Randy Taylor (Bobbie); nieces she helped to raise, Karen Patton and Sherrie Frank; additional nieces, Tena Ferguson, Leigh Lawwell, Dana Steele, Lisa Minor, LeAnn Dyer, Chastity Romero, Tabathia Barrett, Becky Greenwood and Chelsea Woodlee; nephews, Wayne Adams, Dennis Adams, Kelly Adams, Gary Wayne Taylor, Eric Taylor, Andy Cantrell, Christopher Young, Jason Young, Adam Taylor, Jason Basham, Joshua Basham and Cory Young; as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, a great-great nephew, cousins and extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. in High's Chapel with Jerry Hennessee officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High's. The family invites everyone to wear color for the Celebration of Life service in honor of her joyful and positive spirit.
