Paul Glenn Bryant

McMinnville, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Paul Glenn Bryant, age 85, was born December 24,1938 and died January 23, 2024 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN following a brief illness.

A retired supervisor from Powermatic and a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Walker and Delma Cole Bryant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Billy Bryant and Walker Bryant, Jr.; four sisters, Wilba Roberts, Polly Delong, Sandra Simmons and Ruby Roberts; father-in-law and mother-in-law, H.B. (Brents) and Vera (Ann) McCoy and sister-in-law, Susie Bryant.

He was married to Ruthan McCoy Bryant of McMinnville, TN on March 15, 1958. In addition to his wife, Mr. Bryant is survived by children, Ricky Dean (Debbie) Bryant and Linette (John) Stubblefield, both of McMinnville, TN; five grandchildren, Timmy (Jane Ann) Bryant and Amy Mitchell, both of McMinnville, TN, Tisha (Jordan) Cocke of White County, TN, Luke (Courtney) Stubblefield of Lewisburg, KY and Matthew (Alison) Bryant of Lindale, TX; nineteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Truman Bryant of Spencer, TN and James Lynn (Beverly) Bryant of Cookeville, TN; sister, Betty Faye Yates of McMinnville, TN and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Trent Key officiating. Burial will follow at Long Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
