Paul Marvin Winton, age 60, a Morrison, TN resident and Rutherford County, TN native was born January 11, 1961 and died May 7, 2021 following an extended illness. He was the son of the late Howard and Irene Petty Winton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Dale Winton; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Petty and Ulus and Jessie Winton; uncles, Charlie (Tooter) Winton, Jack Winton, E.J. Winton, and Howard Petty; and aunts, Inez Fults and Sally Scott. Mr. Winton is survived by aunts, Jane Winton, Joyce Boswell, Jerelene Wright, Ann Sadler, and Betty Jean Barlow; uncle, Carl Winton; several cousins; and special friends, Doc Lewis, Bud Clayborne, Jimmy Rhea, and Hoover Hancock. From Paul’s family, Paul was considered a special needs child. He was, but he gave back so many things to family and friends that he was a blessing. He loved the July picnic and loved the cake walk and getting cakes to share. He always took all the cakes, cokes, buns, and anything else he won back to the Tullahoma home and shared with three or four other boys. He almost had a smile for everyone and polite to open doors for ladies and elderly people without being told so. He had a special heart for others. He loved Jesus, his church, and family. Funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Jerry Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in Summitville Cemetery in Coffee County.
