McMinnville resident and Warren County native Peggy Ann Earls, age 73, was born April 6, 1952 and died April 21, 2025 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in McMinnville following an extended illness.
A retired employee of Aquatech and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Minnie Wood Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Benny, John, Freddy and Michael; sisters, Lucille (Herbert) Hudson and Shirley (Paul) Starkey and sisters-in-law, Teresa Black and Goldie Black.
She was married to James Earls of McMinnville on May 31, 1972. In addition to her husband of 52 years, Mrs. Earls is survived by sister, Betty (Walter) Griffith of Smithville, TN; brothers, Roger (Jean) Black of Smyrna, TN, Richard (Genean) Black of McMinnville and Gary (Linda) Black, David Black and William Black; sisters-in-law, Nadean Black, Linda Black of Morrison, TN and Joy Black of McMinnville; brothers-in-law, Billy (Nelda) Earls of OH and Bobby (Jean) Earls of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Joe Solomon officiating. Burial will follow at Shellsford Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
