Preston Lynn Rutledge

Dunlap, TN resident and Dekalb County, TN native Preston Lynn Rutledge, age 55, was born June 4, 1968 and died November 28, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN following an extended illness. A former small engine mechanic for True Value Hardware and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, he was the son of the late Ben and Mary Ruth Davis Rutledge. He was married to Lisa Marrie Rutledge of Dunlap, TN on June 22, 2004. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ben E. Rutledge and Liston Rutledge and sister, Darlene Beatles. In addition to his wife, Mr. Rutledge is survived by children, Benny (Shara) Rutledge of Texas, Destanie Rutledge of Manchester, TN, Travis (Tosha) Rutledge of Pikeville, TN, Travis (Desiree) Lusk of Cookeville, TN, Nichole Smith of Rock Island, TN and Randy Pippen of Monterey, TN; nine grandchildren; brother, Bobby (Lola) Rutledge of Rock Island, TN; special friend, Rick (Tina) McCormick and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
