Rafael C. Santos

Smithville, TN resident and Saucillo, Chihuaha, Mexico native Rafael C. Santos, age 83, was born January 6, 1941 and died July 5, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness.

A retired employee of Federal Mogul and member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church, he was the son of the late Francisco and Rafaela Carrera Santos. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by children, Rafael Santos, Jr. and Carlos Santos and brothers, Francisco Santos, Conrado Santos and Raymundo Santos. 

Mr. Santos was married August 18, 1978 to Olga Santos of Smithville who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Karina Soto of McMinnville, TN and Victor Santos of Smithville; grandchildren, Dametruiz Santos, Emily Soto, Victor Daniel Santos, Amberley Soto, Maribel Santos, Araceli Santos, Carlos Santos and Amelia Santos; siblings, Mario Santos, Angel Santos, Guadalupe Santos, Fabian Santos, Antonio Santos, Ramon Santos, Ana Ochoa and Maria del Jesus Santos and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church with Father Bala to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at High's.
