Nancy, KY resident and Warren County, TN native, Ray Leon Walker, age 87, was born September 12, 1933 and passed away November 30, 2020 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN following an extended illness. A retired co-owner of Walker Brothers Dairy Supply, a TN Army National Guard veteran, a member of #381 Ezel Lodge in Morrison, TN, and a member of Bybee Chapel Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Levon and Pauline Ray Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death on February 28, 2007 by his first wife of 50 years, Barbara Case Walker; and son, Ronnie Walker. He was married to Ruth Waddle Walker of Kentucky. In addition to his wife, he is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Elaine Walker of the Blues Hill Community; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Emily and Jimmy George of McMinnville, TN and Sharon and Ken Burbage of Franklin, TN; brother-in-law, Robert Case of McMinnville, TN; nieces and nephews, Rachel and Danny Anderson, Trina and Mike Koltay, Clark George, Heather George, and Robert and Rebecca Case; several great-nieces and great-nephews; granddaughter, Tiffany Foster; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN with Wallace Caldwell officiating. Military grave rites will be administered by American Legion Post 173 Honor Guard. No visitation or service will be held at High’s and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
