Ricky Wayne "Pa-Daddy" Elrod

Ricky Wayne Elrod, age 61, was born September 17, 1962 in Warren County, TN and passed away at home peacefully on August 4, 2024 after a short illness.

He was the son of the late J.C. Elrod and Merkie Elrod of McMinnville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James "Jimmy" Elrod and Ronnie Elrod of McMinnville.

Mr. Elrod is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 40 years, Jenny "Sissy" Elrod of McMinnville; his baby girl, Leta Nichole Elrod of McMinnville; his world, his grandson, Brayton Wayne Blair of McMinnville; mother-in-law, Ola Marie Alley of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Michael (Pam) Clemmons of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Janie Elrod of McMinnville; brothers, Danny Elrod, David (Melody) Elrod and Andy Elrod all of McMinnville; aunts, Debbie Elrod of McMinnville and Marva (John) Cooper of Jasper, TN; uncle, Doug Elrod and son both of North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

A special thank you to his nieces, Kalie Elrod and Michelle Hicks Thurman for helping to care for him; to everyone at Caris Hospice and to Angelina Charles.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at High's. There will be no funeral service held.
