Ricky Landon Bowdoin

Woodbury, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Ricky Landon Bowdoin, age 66, was born January 13, 1957 and died July 15, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness. 

A retired truck driver, minister and a member of Bethel Hill Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Billy Landon and Peggy Sue Morton Bowdoin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Billy Bowdoin and mother-in-law, Cindy Williams.

Mr. Bowdoin was married to Tammy Bowdoin of Woodbury, TN on July 24, 1989. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Cameron Bowdoin, Michael Bowdoin, Clint Bowdoin, Amy (Jeremy) Thomasson, Eric (Angela) Bowdoin and Mark Bowdoin; service dog, Tiny Lynn; grandchildren, Claire Bowdoin, Eliza Thomasson, Clowie Bowdoin, Caitlyn Bowdoin, Tera (Hunter) King, Noah Bowdoin, Tristan Bowdoin and Russell King; one great-grandchild on the way, Kainen; siblings, Susan Bowdoin, Darlene Carroll and Randy Bowdoin; special cousin, Wanda Wright and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023 in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
