Ricky Allen "Moody" Tubbs

Ricky Allen "Moody" Tubbs, age 61, was a resident of Rock Island, TN and a Warren County native. He was born May 31, 1963, and died on December 13, 2024 at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. 

He was a retired employee of Findlay Industries in Morrison, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Tubbs and stepfather, James Taylor, Jr. He is survived by his mother Juanita Taylor;  son, Moody Ricky Allen Tubbs, Jr. "Little Moody" and step-son, Chance Lawson. In addition to his mother and sons he is survived by his special friend, Lisa McGuire; siblings, Micheal (Hope) Tubbs of Dallas, TX, Pat (Ronald) Cole of Smartt Station, James (Gericia) Taylor, III of Rock Island, Hollie Tubbs, Tammy Tubbs, John Tubbs and Shaun Tubbs;  granddaughter, Irie Tubbs; uncles, Billy (Karen) Tubbs, Walter (Joyce) Tubbs, William Tubbs, Charlie (Georgia) Lusk, Harold (Louise) Lusk, Curtis (Rhonda) Lusk and Jerry Lusk; aunts, JoAnn (Larry) William, Annette Evans, Connie (Glenn) Leftwich, Shirley (Damien) Rutland and Wanda Tubbs; nieces, Erica (Samuel) Harris, Ashley (Keith) Whitson and Shelbie Tubbs and nephews, Trace Taylor and Tyler Taylor. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews. Moody had an infectious smile and never met a stranger. Moody will be remembered for the love of his family and the Dallas Cowboys.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024 in High's Chapel with Bro. Michael Harris officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday in High's Chapel.
