Robert Woodlee, age 86, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born November 13, 1934 and died January 19, 2021 at his residence following a sudden illness. He was the owner of Woodlee’s Garage and Body Shop, a retired maintenance employee with A.O. Smith, a retired United States Army veteran, a member of Central Church of Christ, and the son of the late Andrew Beecher and Pauline Fults Woodlee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Nadyne Wanamaker Woodlee; two brothers, Leon Woodlee and Dwite Woodlee; and brother-in-law, Wilson Wanamaker. Mr. Woodlee is survived by four children: Rickey (Debra) Woodlee, Rusty Woodlee, Leann (Ray) Brumley, and Krista (Tom) Barrett all of McMinnville, TN; nine grandchildren, Richey (Amber) Woodlee, Damon (Rene) Woodlee, Christy (Lee) Partain, Casey Barrett, Ryan Woodlee, Alli (Kyle) Haley, Derek (Robbie) Brumley, Mitchell (Kayla) Barrett, and Blake (Savannah) Brumley; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Anderson of McMinnville, TN; brother, Adolf Woodlee of McMinnville, TN; brothers-in-law: Lanny (Barbara) Wanamaker, and Hal (Brenda) Wanamaker both of McMinnville, TN; and sister-in-law, Priscilla Wanamaker of McMinnville, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Jackie Matheny, and Ben Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
