Robert Glen Gibbs

McMinnville, TN resident and Kingston, TN native Robert Glen Gibbs, age 78, was born May 2, 1944 and died February 25, 2023 at his home from an extended illness.

A United States Army veteran who did two tours in Vietnam, he was the son of the late Frank and Lucille Gibbs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Mildred Hinch and step-daughter, Christy Carlson.

He was a lifetime member of DAV and VFW of Manchester and past commander of both.

Mr. Gibbs is survived by wife, Barbara Gibbs; step-son, Chuck (Monica) Carlson of McMinnville, TN; step-grandchildren, Keesha (Matt) Ramsey and Cole, Cade and Calie Carlson and step-great-grandchildren, Maddison Ramsey and Tripp Martin.

Per Mr. Gibbs request his body was donated to science.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at High Funeral Home.
