Ronald Wilson Wanamaker, age 72, born June 25, 1947 passed away on September 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Martha Wanamaker and sister, Nadyne Woodlee all of McMinnville. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Priscilla Poag Wanamaker; son, Kirk Wanamaker of the Cedar Grove community in Van Buren County; granddaughters, Peyton Wanamaker and Alexis Wanamaker both of McMinnville; great-grandsons, Branch and Truett Conley; brothers, Lanny (Barbara) Wanamaker and Hal (Brenda) Wanamaker both of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Robert Woodlee of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Jennie Poag (Roger) Brown of Hernando, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Wanamaker was employed by Dr Pepper Bottling Company of McMinnville for 42 years. He enjoyed traveling and had a deep love for his family and co-workers. He is a member of Bascom United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at High Funeral Home, McMinnville, on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Graveside service and interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County with Rev. Paul Trammel of Bascom United Methodist Church to officiate.
