Ronnie Lee Young

McMinnville resident and Davidson County native Ronnie Lee Young, age 78, was born January 19, 1947 and died March 3, 2025 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.

A United States Air Force veteran and retired employee with Carrier Corporation, he was the son of the late Robert and Ruby Vaughn Young. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Mildred Oldham, Hilda Young and Donnie Young.

He is survived by children, Chris (Karen) Young of McMinnville and Ruthie Lee Chambers of Altamont, TN; grandchildren, D.J. Chambers, Savannah Chambers, Amanda Peckman and Kelsey Smith; great-grandchildren, Easton and Weston Chambers, Soren, Christoph and Miriam Peckman and Lincoln Smith.

Mr. Young will be cremated, and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date. There will be no service or visitation held at High’s.
