Roy Edward "Hobo" Bouldin, Sr.

Seguin, TX resident and Warren County, TN native Roy Edward “Hobo” Bouldin, Sr., age 77, was born April 24, 1944 and died November 2, 2021 at his residence following a sudden illness. A self-employed nurseryman, he was the son of the late William Davis and Mary Elizabeth Freeman Bouldin. He was married to Edna Lynn Emler on June 17, 1972 who preceded him in death on July 5, 2018. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by grandchild, Gregory Bouldin and two brothers, Carl and David Bouldin. Mr. Bouldin is survived by three children and spouses, Janice and Herbert Walker, Jr. of McMinnville, TN, Kristie and Michael Dodson of Seguin, TX, and Roy and Cindy Bouldin, Jr. of McMinnville, TN; six grandchildren, Shawn Thaxton, Christopher Dodson, Katrina Stembridge, Ethan Bouldin, Blake Cope, and Danielle Scott; three great-grandchildren, McKenna Thaxton, Kennedy Thaxton, and Lindley Stembridge; two brothers, Tony Bouldin of McMinnville, TN and Gary Bouldin of Cookeville, TN; and three sisters, Jackie Perry, Judy Seals, and Barbara Chisam, all of McMinnville, TN. Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 at Shellsford Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Pokie George officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
