McMinnville, TN resident and native Roy Anthony Wayne “Tony” Moore, age 78, was born February 15, 1947 and died February 25, 2025 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.
He was the retired owner and operator of Warren Custom Insulation, member of the Church of God and son of the late Walter Preston and Ellie Irene Hennessee Moore, Sr.. He was married October 4, 1969 to Linda Gale Bates Moore who preceded him in death on February 10, 2017. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Preston Moore, Jr., Paul Moore, Jessie Moore, Stevie Moore and Bill Moore; sister, Shelby Jean Craven and brother-in-law, ToJo Milstead.
Mr. Moore is survived by children and spouses, Ryan and Rosario Moore of Chattanooga, TN and Lynde and Mickey Bond of McMinnville; grandchildren, Allison Bond and Richard Teachout of Smithville, TN, Dylan Bond and Ella Bond both of McMinnville, Fletcher and Keaton Moore of Nashville, TN, Tru Moore of Murfreesboro, TN and Pablo and Sara Oliveras of Chattanooga; sister, Juanita Boren; sisters-in-law, Juan Milstead and Betty J Moore both of McMinnville and special friend, Janice Kelsey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Jeff Hill to officiate. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
