Ruby Irene King

Ruby Irene King was born May 26, 1947 and passed away April 22, 2025. She was born in Madison County, AL to the late Javis Allen and Annie Magnolia Allen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Wilson King, brother, Jerry Arrington and sisters, Pearl Self, Joann Hicks and Linda Faye Goodman.

Mrs. King is survived by her children, Ronnie (Ellen) King of Ardmore, AL, Peggy Haston (Barry Rogers) of McMinnville, TN and Phillip King of Morrison, TN; grandsons, Chuck (Kelsey) King, Devin Haston, William (Taylor) King and Anthony Hurts; granddaughters, Emily (Matt) Cope, Jennifer (Brandon) Bouldin, Courtney (Brent) Hutchison, Shelly Wright and Stephanie King; twenty-five great-grandchildren; sister, Lucy (Ronald) Sanders and brother, Tom (Tammy) Allen.

Mrs. King was a long-time resident of Warren County and member of the Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County with Gene McClure to officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at High’s.
