McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native Ruth Lee Jones Patterson, age 87, was born March 24, 1937 and died August 8, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness.

A homemaker and member of Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Brown and Maudie Earleen Jaco Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Billie (J.R.) Weddington.

Mrs. Patterson was married May 26, 1956 to Donald Patterson of McMinnville who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, James Ray Patterson of Smithville, TN and David (Sherry) Patterson, Terry (T.J.) Patterson and Rhonda Marie (Randy) Craven all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Jamie (Taunya) Patterson, Angel Patterson, Nick (Anna) Patterson, Tommy (Shay) Patterson, Joe (Lindsay) Patterson and Chasity (Mike) Gilbert; brothers, John (Joyce) Jones, Shirley (Delores) Jones, Charles Jones, Eugene (Anne) Jones and Clinton (Betty) Jones all of McMinnville and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024 at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church with Nathan Jones to officiate. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. There will be no service or visitation at High's.
