Sandra Lynn Cox Rogers

McMinnville, TN resident and Lincoln County, TN native Sandra Lynn Cox Rogers, age 67, was born November 14, 1953 and died July 22, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. Retired from New Day Christian Distributors and a member of Fountain Grove United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late James and Hilda Reavis Cox. She was married to Robert Lavern Rogers of McMinnville, TN on December 24, 1994. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Lester and Exie Reavis and Charlie and Elsie Cox; daughter, Bethany Dawn Cox; brothers, Charles and Jeff Cox; and brother-in-law, Gregory Rogers. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rogers is survived by brother and sister-in-law, James Randall and Virginia Cox of Portland, TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Vick and Marcy Rogers of McMinnville, TN; special cousins, Judy Brandt, Linda Price, Brenda Sweeney, and Rebecca Howard; and many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Fountain Grove United Methodist Church in Coffee County, TN with John Sweeney officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Fountain Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Fountain Grove Cemetery in Coffee County, TN at a later date. She loved singing in church and praising God. She will be missed by everyone who knew her, especially the under-privileged children at Warren County Middle School.
