Selena Couch

McMinnville, TN resident and native Selena Couch, age 47, was born February 1, 1977 and died December 19, 2024 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.

A former employee of Yorozu and member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Margaret Sue McCormick Couch of McMinnville and the late Gerald Thomas Couch. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ernest and Lida Mae Bost Couch and maternal grandparents, Ben and Eddie Mae Hale McCormick.

Ms. Couch is survived by her mother; son, Austin “AD” Dillon Majors of McMinnville; step-father, Elmer Benge, Jr. of McMinnville; step-mother, Peggy Couch of McMinnville; uncles, James (Sally) McCormick of Sparta, TN, John (Terrie) McCormick of Rock Island, Barney McCormick of McMinnville, Joe (Janie) Couch of Clarksville, TN and Willard Powell Couch of McMinnville; aunts, Judy (Richard) Yates of Bledsoe County, TN, Bennie (George) Lamphere of South Carolina, Alice McCormick Hobbs of McMinnville and Linda Sue McDowell of McMinnville and several cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Tony Lawrence to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
