Shirley Ann Wright

McMinnville, TN resident and Smyrna, TN native Shirley Ann Wright, age 89, was born April 18, 1935 and died September 30, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness. 

A former nurse with Middle Tennessee Health Facility and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she was the daughter of the late James Everette and Kathlene Sanders McCulough. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Milton Vincent Wright, Jr.

She is survived by sons and spouses, Ronald Stephen Wright of McMinnville, Douglas "Bert" (Kari) Wright of Nashville, TN and Barry Dale Wright of McMinnville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Linda) McCulough of Donelson, TN; sister, Kathy (Ron) Herron of Gatlinburg, TN and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 7, 2024 in High's Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High's.
