Stanley Bryan Smith

Stanley Bryan Smith, 72, passed away February 27, 2022. He was a McMinnville, TN resident, and a past resident of Rockvale, TN and Springfield, TN. He was born in Ironton, MO, on December 27, 1949. A retired engineer at Kuehne and Nagel, he was the son of the late Cecil Dale and Iona Mae Murray Smith, and younger brother to the late Jerry Smith and Kay Walker. In addition, he was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Deborah Seaton Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by eight children, Ted Smith of Murfreesboro, TN, Andrea (husband Thomas) Bauer of Round Hill, VA, Vanessa Smith Neal of McMinnville, TN, Audrey Smith of Murfreesboro, TN, Suzanne (husband Craig) Harris of Murfreesboro, TN, Julie (husband Gary) Proctor of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Joey (wife Lesley) Haun of Christiana, TN, Scott (wife Holly) Haun of Murfreesboro, TN and a very proud Poppy to seventeen grandchildren. Stan was passionate about his faith in God, love of music and simply said, a master at “collecting things”. His giving and loving heart left a beacon of light for all those who knew him. His home was always open, his heart was always full of love and his jokes and quick wit never failed him. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm, May 7, 2022, at Corner Stone Free Will Baptist Church, 3071 Hwy 99, Murfreesboro, TN 37128.
