Stephen Randell Butcher

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Stephen Randell Butcher, age 66, was born December 6, 1958 and died February 11, 2025 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. 

A retired foreman with Tri-State Development, he was the son of the late Bill and Evelyn Jean Rhea Butcher. He was married to Lesa Fay Taylor on May 17, 1980 who preceded him in death.

Mr. Butcher is survived by two sons, Chris (Christina) Butcher and Travis (Tiffani) Butcher, both of McMinnville; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Ricky (Sally) Butcher, Freddie Butcher and Bruce (Barbara) Butcher, all of McMinnville; sisters, Debbie Butcher and Teresa (Randy) Mullins, both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday February 14, 2025 in High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery at Hills Creek in Warren County with Steve Breedlove and Keith Bouldin officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
