Stephen Archer Wright

McMinnville resident and Grand Rapids, MI native Stephen Archer Wright, age 84, was born October 9, 1940 and died January 7, 2025 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following a brief illness. 

A veteran of the United States Air Force, retired employee of Diverse Medical Management and member of the Baptist church, he was the son of the late Archer and Gwyndolyn Bishop Wright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Pam Lajiness. 

He was married to Sally Wright of McMinnville on February 25, 2006. In addition to his wife, Mr. Wright is survived by daughter, Jennifer (Jay) Waters of Cincinnati, OH; step-son, Michael (Natalie) Frey of McMinnville; grandchildren, Grace Parkhurst, Anslee Miller, Aiden Miller and Beckham Frey; brother, Greg (Ellen) Wright of NY; sister, Kathy Wright of Albuquerque, NM and several nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Wright will be cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
