Steve R. "Cub" Caldwell

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Steve R. “Cub” Caldwell, age 67, was born July 30, 1954 and died February 21, 2022 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A retired dump truck driver for Hillis Trucking, he was the son of the late Arvil Ray and Laura Ruth Bouldin Caldwell. He was married to Angie Caldwell of McMinnville, TN on March 13, 1976. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Angela Kay Caldwell and Doris Caldwell and grandparents. In addition to his wife, Mr. Caldwell is survived by three daughters, Trista (Kenny) Gibson of Bradyville, TN, Cristy Caldwell of Morrison, TN and Leslie Caldwell of McMinnville, TN; six grandchildren, Jaylon Wooten, Kyland and Keaton Gibson, Alec and Sabastien Smith and Leeloo Grissom; special pet, Chevy; two sisters, Janie France of Sparta, TN and Delaina Asbell of McMinnville, TN and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Caldwell was cremated. Visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at High's. A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Friendship Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
