Smyrna, TN resident and Warren County native Steven Joe Clendenon, age 51, was born March 30, 1970 and died March 25, 2022 at his residence following a sudden illness. Steven was the son of the late Joe Ross and Charlotte Jean Maynard Clendenon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Houston and Dollie Maynard; paternal grandparents, Livy and Emma Gladys Clendenon and very special aunt, June Roberts. He is survived by two sisters and brother-in-law, Regina and Jeff Woodlee and Dana Roller; four nieces, Courtney (Jeff) Chisam, Haley (Matt) Nelson, Lauren (Taylor) Cathey and Abby Roller (Ben Myers); nephew, Mitchell Woodlee; great-niece, Brynlee Chisam; great-nephews, Brody Chisam and Nash Nelson and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Steven was a member of the Church of Christ and loved to fish, hunt, watch TV and spend time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew and great-niece and great-nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Thomas Mmbaga and Deltra Fowlkes for taking such good care of Steve for so many years. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in High's Chapel with Daron Hall and Mitchell Woodlee officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery @ Hills Creek.
