Susan Elaine Jacobs

McMinnville, TN resident and native Susan Elaine Jacobs, age 69, was born July 28, 1955 and died September 8, 2024 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following a two-month illness.

A homemaker and member of Mt. Zion Non-Denominational Church, she was the daughter of Lowell Haston of McMinnville and the late Patty Sue Magness Haston. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by brother, Wayne Haston; former husband, John Jacobs and grandparents, Eugene and Gladys Magness and Paul and Octa Haston.

Ms. Jacobs is survived by her father; sons, Chris (Gina) Jacobs of Watertown and Jason (Amanda) Jacobs of McMinnville; grandchildren, Lindsey (Ross) Rogers, Jeffrey (Ariel) Darrell, Whitney (Izak) Blanke, Chase Darrell, Kaci Jacobs, Blake Jacobs, Chloe Jacobs, Beck Jacobs, Bryce Jacobs, Jordan Chadwell, Lexie Chadwell and J.J. Jacobs; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Dr. Steve Haston of Florida and Joey (Shannon) Haston of McMinnville; sister, Donna (Jeff) Womack of Morrison and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 in High's Chapel with Jim Zlaten to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at High's.
