Teresa Dawn Pitts

McMinnville, TN resident and Knoxville, TN native Teresa Dawn Pitts, age 67, was born December 17, 1954 and died January 12, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN following an extended illness. A retired housekeeper at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville, TN and member of Christian Fellowship Church, she was the daughter of the late Robert David and Lula Belle Chesher Scalf. Ms. Pitts is survived by sons, David (Candy) Collett of McMinnville, TN, Derek “Hooper” Bowdoin and fiancée, Kayla Napier of Maryville, TN, William Collett of Clarksville, TN, and Jeffery Byrge of Shelbyville, TN; fourteen grandchildren; sister Linda (Ed) Thornburg of Kingston, TN; and brothers, Neil (Susan) Scalf and Marty Scalf, both of Kingston, TN.
