Thelma Louise Duggin

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native, Thelma Louise Duggin, age 86, was born February 26, 1938 and died July 19, 2024 at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness.

A retired manager of Dollar General and member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of the late James "Jim" and Ida Holt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Richard "Jack" Duggin; sisters, Inez Burch, Evelyn Roark, Aradelle Jones and Galuia Neal; brothers, W.D. Holt, James Holt, Clayton Holt and Clarence Holt; grandson, Garrett Duggin and step-grandson, R.C. Merriman.

Mrs. Duggin is survived by daughters, Jackie (Doug) Merriman of McMinnville and Jill (Billy) Simmons of Rock Island, TN; sons, Ricky (Freda) Duggin of the Rocky River Community and Gary Randall (Rhonda) Duggin of McMinnville; sister, Ponzelle Usrey of Doyle, TN; brother, Morris (Wanda) Holt of McMinnville; ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Faulkner Cemetery at Pike Hill with Jason Brown to officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at High's.
