McMinnville, TN resident and Grundy County native Tyffie Sue Hobbs, age 77, was born December 22, 1946 and died August 26, 2024 at her residence following a brief illness.
The retired owner of Tyffie and Sons Nursery and member of Hebron Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Alda Savage Hamilton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Jerrell Hamilton, Waymon Hamilton and Ellene Gailbreath.
Mrs. Hobbs was married January 6, 1966 to Milo Hobbs of McMinnville who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Alan Clark Hobbs and Cory Hobbs both of McMinnville; grandson, Blayton Hobbs; siblings, Carolyn (Dennis) Flanigan of McMinnville, Betty Delores (Ray) Arredondo of Cataula, GA and Ronnie (Linda) Hamilton of McMinnville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Hamilton and Alma McCormick both of McMinnville.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Northcutt Cove Mormon Church Cemetery in Grundy County with Rickey Magness and Derrick Stiles to officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at High's.
Memorial contributions may be made to Warren County Relay for Life.
