McMinnville resident and Warren County native William Thomas Mullican (Bill) was born October 23, 1944 and passed away from cancer on November 24, 2024 in Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents Connie and Thomas Mullican, brother Jim Mullican, and treasured granddaughter Annabelle Mullican. Bill is survived by his wife, Jenny Byassee Mullican of McMinnville, Tennessee, children Dodd Mullican of Birmingham, Alabama and Will Mullican of Spring Hill, Tennessee, siblings Mike Mullican and Marion Marks, sister-in-law Patricia Mullican, nieces Kari Maloney and Diane Marks, nephews Patrick, Ryan and Josh Mullican and Michael and Thomas Marks, grandchildren Callie, WT, and Burke Mullican, and daughter-in-law April Mullican.
Bill was active in community service and deeply involved in youth sports for many years. He served on the Magness Library Board of Trustees and was active in the McMinnville Rotary Club. A graduate of the University of Tennessee he had a successful career owning and operating the family hard wood flooring business, McMinnville Manufacturing Company, with his brothers. Bill attended church at First United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kids of the Community, the Annabelle Mullican Scholarship Fund at Camp Skyline, or the Magness Public Library Foundation.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024 in High's Chapel with Berry Lannom, Richard Penny and Ryan Heatherly officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday at High’s.
