Willie Irene Holmes

McMinnville, TN resident, Willie Irene Holmes, was born July 4, 1925 and died April 25, 2024 at her home in McMinnville at the age of 98.

A lifetime member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ and retired machine operator, she was the daughter of William Lee Page and Roxie Parsley Page. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Lynder Holmes; sisters, Oma (Fred) Myers and Eliza (Joe Ben) Sanders and brothers, Erby (Mildred) Page, Clarence (Mary Lee) Page, Floyd (Era) Page, Claudy (Ruby) Page and E.J. (Jean) Page.

Mrs. Holmes is survived by son, David (Kim) Holmes of McMinnville, TN; granddaughters, Aaren Holmes of Nashville, TN and Merranda (Hunter) Stanfield; great-granddaughter, Lennon Elizabeth Stanfield of Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Naomi Holmes of Manchester, TN; numerous nieces and nephews and special caregivers, Tammie Gutierrez, Brooke Haley, Shelby Wood, Hope Knight, Sheila Davidson and Jamie Daniels.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27^th at Shady Grove Cemetery with Brother Charles Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the cemetery.
