Wilma Lois Brock

McMinnville, TN resident and native Wilma Lois Brock, age 84, was born June 17, 1940 and died December 15, 2024 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Brock was the daughter of the late Jess and Grace Fults Slaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Charles Brock; sisters, Laura (Bill) Smartt, Frances Butcher, Eva Nell Bess, Lodema Slaughter, Alma (Sherman) Barnes and Geneva (George) Smartt; brothers, Hughey (Irene) Slaughter, J.E. (Hattie) Slaughter, Dud (Peggy) Slaughter and Leon Slaughter; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Juanita and Alvin Ledford and sister-in-law, Carol Brock.

She is survived by sons, Duane Brock and Shane Brock both of McMinnville; granddaughters, Samantha (Cameron) Roller and Kelsey Jones both of McMinnville; great-grandson, Rylan Roller of McMinnville; great-granddaughter, Tinsley West of McMinnville; sister, Hallie Warren of McMinnville; brothers-in-law, G.D. Bess of McMinnville and Paul Brock of Pikeville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Karen and Tom Hill of Southern Pines, NC and Ralph and Wanda Brock of McMinnville; many nieces and nephews; special nieces, Glenda Woodlee and Freda Hennessee; special caretaker, Lesia Comfort and special family friend, Chase Collins. A special thank you to Gentiva Hospice, their nurses and care providers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Carroll Lawson to officiate. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery at Hills Creek. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
