McMinnville resident and Warren County native Wilma Christine Foster, age 96, was born April 14, 1928 and died March 21, 2025 at the Webb House Retirement Center in McMinnville following a brief illness.
A retired teacher with the Warren County School System and a member of Bluff Springs Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late William Loyd and Cleo Sanders Sullivan. She was married to Thomas Don Foster on June 6, 1947 who preceded her in death on April 28, 2008. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, John and Billy Sullivan.
Mrs. Foster is survived by son, Tommy (Kay) Foster of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Craig (Carla) Foster of McMinnville, Chad (Mica) Foster of Hood River, OR and Robin (Dale) Bell of Rock Island, TN; great-grandchildren, Daulton (Aprile) Foster of McMinnville, Danielle (Tommy) Haynes of VA and Samantha Bell and Kaleb Bell, both of Rock Island, TN; several nieces and nephews and special great-nephews, Tracy and Chris Foster and others.
Wilma was a founder of the Dibrell Museum and member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Webb Cemetery at Bluff Springs in Warren County. No visitation or service will be held at High’s. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
