Wilma "Joyce" McCaleb Lafever

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Wilma “Joyce” McCaleb Lafever, age 76, was born May 23, 1946 and died August 13, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. The retired owner of Joyce’s Country Store and of the Christian faith, she was the daughter of the late Petway and Birdie Mae Anderson McCaleb. She was married August 15, 2002 to Bill Lafever who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Alferd and Joe McCaleb; sisters, Oleta Sandlin, Lola McCaleb and Eleanor Simerly and son-in-law, Mike Cantrell. Ms. Lafever is survived by daughters, Pamela Cantrell and Cindy Tramel, both of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Michael Burks, Cristy (Cody) Brady, Daniel Byars (Tara Abner), and Crystal (Steven) Arrington, all of McMinnville, TN, Samantha Tramel (Josh Ribarchik) of Walling, TN and Casey (Koressa) Cantrell of McMinnville, TN; great-grandchildren, Traeton Byars, Lexi Abner, Paislee and Delilah Brady, Bryler and Brixlynn Cantrell, Landon Fults, Damion and Dakota Ribarchik, Paige Burks and two on the way; sister, Carol Davenport; brothers, Paul and Calvin McCaleb and her loving cat, Gypsy.
