McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native Wilma Bell Turner, age 87, was born January 3, 1938 and died April 9, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.
A retired teacher's assistant with F.C. Boyd Christian School and member of East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Virgie Adell Curtis Bell. Mrs. Turner was married July 30, 1955 to Charlie Turner who preceded her in death on April 12, 2022. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Fred Brown Bell, Jr., Lina Ruth Davenport, Frances Drake, James Bell, Bobby Gene Bell, Joseph Charles Bell, William Thomas Bell and Velma L. Lance.
She is survived by children, Debbie Redmon and Charles "Lynn" (Sherry) Turner both of McMinnville; grandchildren, Joshua King, Jonathon King, Matthew Turner and Lexi Turner; great-grandson, Abram King and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025 in High's Chapel with Kevin Key, Debbie Redmon and Stephanie Rainey to officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at High's.
